REPUBLICAN 2012 CAUCUSES FEBRUARY 7 PDF Print E-mail

Republican precinct caucuses are on Tuesday, February 7th, at 7 p.m. this year and represent our best opportunity to decide what form of government we want at a most fundamental level. And we don't have to go outside our neighborhood to do it! Even if you've never attended a caucus before or aren't involved in politics, we encourage you to attend your Republican precinct caucus where you'll meet your neighbors, help determine the direction of the party, and even vote in a presidential straw poll.

  • WHAT IS A PRECINCT CAUCUS?  MNGOP has created a handy document that explains what a caucus is, why it's important, defines precinct caucus terms, and contains the party platform as well as a form to amend it.
  • FIND YOUR PRECINCT.  Don't know what precinct or district you live in? Just go to the Secretary of State's website, type in your street address and click "Go."
  • FIND YOUR GOP CAUCUS LOCATION.  To find your caucus location just go here and enter your information in one of five ways.

Please take advantage of this opportunity on February 7th to change the direction of the country by changing those we elect to govern it. Grab your like-minded neighbor and make your opinion count!

Mark Johnson, SD 60 GOP Chair: "We are delighted to invite these candidates together to have a friendly discussion before the residents of CD 5. These days people wonder whether our elected officials are working for Washington or working for us. We believe the Republicans of this district can offer a better alternative to what we've been getting, and this debate will help us decide what that alternative will be."

SD63’s mid-winter gathering PDF Print E-mail

Mark your calendars now for SD 63’s mid-winter gathering.

Come join others from SD63 for a night of laughs, good food and beverages!!

We’ve invited comedian Tammy Nerby to entertain us this year and guess what?  She’s a Republican!

The “Minneapolis Comedy All Stars” says:
Tammy Nerby is one of the most loved (and requested) comics in the Midwest. But she’s not just a comic – she’s performed hundreds of voiceovers for TV and radio commercials. She’s also a highly sought-after motivational speaker.
Raised a wholesome Lutheran girl from Minnesota, Tammy’s view of life has become slightly demented. Her twisted observations about marriage, family and real life have made her popular in comedy clubs and military bases worldwide.

Tammy also has a few things to say regarding politics, so move over Dennis Miller!

When: Friday January 20th, 2012 starting at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Sports Page Bar & Grill - 9014 Lyndale Ave. So., Bloomington

There will be food and adult beverages (woo hoo) available for purchase.

A suggested donation of $10 would be appreciated.

It's time for us to kick up our heels and make the DFL see RED by preparing for 2012.

Check back for any updates as the evening gets closer.

DON’T MISS THIS EVENT!
